Pooda are Indian crepes which are crispy and healthy! These particular pooda are made from mung which makes gives them a unique crispy texture and makes them super filling.

Recipe: Makes 3 servings

Ingredients:

1 Cup Split Mung Daal

Water for soaking

2 1/2 Pieces Thai Green Chilies

1/4 Inch Ginger piece

3/4 Tsp Salt

1/3 Cup Water

Method:

1. Soak the split mung daal for at least 3 hours. The size of the mung will seem to double.

2. Then put the mung daal, the Thai green chiles, ginger, salt and water into a blender or food processor and mix until it becomes a lumpy semiliquid paste.

3. Warm up a pan until medium pot and then spread the mung mixture quick (this is hard to do but it has to be done quickly because the mixture starts cooking right away, the shape doesn't make a difference but you want the same consistency throughout)

4. Cook on one side and then flip it! Serve it warm with aachar or chundo!

Enjoy!
